Commerce department of Atarra Post Graduate College, Atarra is one of the promising departments of the college since its established in 1985. This department is running U.G. and P.G. (Self Finance) course since 1985 and 2005 respectively. It was the first commerce college in Banda District U.P. to provide commerce education at higher education level. Since its inception thousands of students got U.G. & P.G. degree and were well placed in the different area, many students have completed professional course like C.A., C.S., ICWA during study period in the college are well placed in corporate sector. This department has facilities for research work. Four students have completed their research work and have been awarded PhD degree. At present, eight research scholars are enrolled in this Department for PhD.
The demand for higher studies in the field of Accounting, management, banking, industry, tax, cooperative sector etc. are going to remain very high in near future. Programmes at our Department are aimed to create eligible candidates, who besides working as professional employees have the characteristics of a successful entrepreneur too.the above, can fill vacancies in neumours field of activities.
