Consultancy to Farmers
Department of Agriculture and Department of Botany through various activities provide information regarding innovative cost effective farming techniques to farmers and students. In nearby villages, Botany department undertake regular training program and workshop on ‘Mushroom farming technique’ and ‘Hydroponics farming techniques’.
Department of agriculture provides free consultancy services to local farmers.

Green Practices
Atarra P.G. college campus has luxuriant vegetation. Big and dense
vegetation have made the campus carbon neutral. We try to manage solid, liquid and e -waste in line with green building standard. Rainwater harvesting pit is made in the college campus to preserve ground water.
All green practices are adopted to reduce pollution for example- tree plantation, anti polythene campaign, encouraging the use of bicycles, cleanness drives etc.
